About this calculator
Use Code 128B for labels with letters. EAN-13 needs 12 digits (check digit is computed) or 13 with a valid check. UPC-A is 11 or 12 digits.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I print this on a product for retail?
The bars follow the public specs, but you still need a GS1 company prefix and a printer that holds bar width. This page is for labels and tests, not a GS1 membership.
Why did EAN-13 reject my number?
It must be 12 digits (we add the check digit) or 13 digits whose last digit matches the GS1 checksum.
